This Hard Maple serving spoon was made from green wood. I split spoon blanks from a log and rough out a general shape on the bandsaw. or with a hatchet. All the handwork is done with a drawknife and slojd knives. This particular spoon is "off the knife," no parts have been sanded. A weave pattern of sorts has been Kolrosed on the handle.
All my spoons are finished with tung oil and can be used for either cooking or serving. Hand wash only. Please see more information about spoon care here.
