This small sized server/large eater is made of Cherry. I split spoon blanks from a log and rough out a general shape on the bandsaw. or with a hatchet. All the handwork is done with a drawknife and slojd knives. This particular spoon is "off the knife," no parts have been sanded; the texture on the handle is from the wood just under the bark
All my spoons are finished with tung oil and can be used for either cooking or serving. Hand wash only. Please see more information about spoon care here.
